JTCC Mugen with Dome Team Castrol Honda Accord

Mugen and Dome created this beautiful Honda Accord. Please pay close attention to the aero.

There’s a lot of confusion regarding the engine. It’s a basically destroked H22A but it is coded as the F20B. This was due to two reasons. First, was to enter the car in two-liter class racing where the FF can be competitive. Second, was to comply with many countries’ sub-two-liter tax.

Nonetheless, the car was very, very fast. Wanna know how fast? Try smoking-an-N1-GTR fast.

Too bad it always lost to Dome’s rival, Mooncraft, which also raced an Accord. Mooncraft won two championships in ’96 and ’97. I never knew that Accords could hold their own in the race track.
